Siding Installation Services
Vinyl, fiber cement and engineered wood siding, installed as a system rather than a surface.
Siding & Exteriors from Apex Construction Services
Siding is the visible part of a wall assembly that also includes sheathing, a weather-resistant barrier, flashing at every opening, and trim. Water gets into walls at the joints between those things, which is why an expensive siding product installed over sloppy flashing performs worse than a modest one installed carefully.
We install vinyl, fiber cement and engineered wood, and we handle the rest of the exterior with it: soffit, fascia, trim, seamless gutters, and window and door replacement. A roof is only one part of the building envelope, and the parts have to work together.

01 · ENVELOPE
Siding is a system, not a surface
Every siding product on the market assumes water will get behind it at some point. What keeps a wall dry is the drainage plane underneath: the weather-resistant barrier, correctly lapped so water runs down and out, and flashing at every window head, door, penetration and transition.
That is the part nobody photographs and nobody sees once the job is done. It is also the part that decides whether you have a wall or a problem in eight years.
02 · MATERIALS
Choosing a material
Vinyl is the most economical, needs essentially no maintenance and now comes in insulated versions that improve wall performance. Fiber cement is more expensive and heavier but holds paint beautifully, resists impact and suits period homes where a wood look matters. Engineered wood sits between them.
We will give you a straight recommendation based on the house, the exposure and the budget, and we are happy to quote more than one option so you can compare rather than take our word for it.
Siding & Exteriors questions
A typical house runs one to two weeks depending on size, how much trim detail there is and what we find behind the old siding. The estimate carries a timeline before you commit.
On a full replacement, yes. Removing it is the only way to inspect the sheathing, replace anything rotten and install a proper drainage plane and flashing behind the new siding.
Often, though weathering means new panels rarely match aged ones exactly. We will tell you honestly how close the match will be before starting.
