So we protect landscaping and hard surfaces before starting, keep debris contained rather than letting it scatter across the beds, sweep for nails and offcuts at the end of each day, and tell you in advance which elevation we are on. It is not complicated, it is just what living through a job requires.

Living through the work
We sequence elevation by elevation so the whole house is never open at once, and so you keep usable access to doors and outdoor space for most of the job. Windows that have to be worked around get done in a planned order rather than whenever a crew arrives at them.
You get a single point of contact who knows the project, which matters more on a two-week job at your house than on a two-day one on your roof.
Coordinating siding with roofing and gutters
If the roof is also due, doing both together is usually cheaper and always tidier. The edge metal, the gutters, the fascia and the top course of siding all meet at the same line, and getting that junction right is far easier when one contractor is responsible for both sides of it.
Where the roof has years left, we simply detail the siding to work with what is there, and say so rather than finding a reason to sell you a roof.
